Our hearts are heavy as we share the story of a brave little soul named Jett — a 3-year-old long-haired Chihuahua whose world was turned upside down in an instant.

Just a few days ago, Jett suffered a sudden spinal cord injury. In a single heartbreaking moment, our joyful, playful boy — who loved running through the grass, chasing his favorite toys, and curling up for snuggles — lost the use of his back legs.

Since his injury, Jett will need multiple tests, X-rays, and MRIs to understand the full extent of the damage and determine the best treatment plan. He faces a long road ahead that will include physical therapy, daily medications, and help with even the simplest tasks like going to the bathroom. He’ll also need a special cart to help him move around and regain some of his independence.

Through it all, Jett’s spirit remains unbroken. His eyes still light up when he sees the people he loves most, and his courage continues to inspire us every single day.

But the reality is that the cost of his care is overwhelming. His medical bills — from testing and imaging to treatments and therapy — are already adding up, and there’s still so much more ahead.
