Donation protected
On Monday 24th March Jett finished work riding his Motorcycle home but upon leaving was hit by a car.
Jett’s lower leg took the force and his foot became almost detached from his leg. Jett applied his own first aid holding his own foot to his leg and squeezing hard as the blood loss was significant.
In the pictures the dark bit is where his foot was half ripped off. He held it together waiting for the ambulance.
The heal pad was ripped off the bone.
The tendons on the side of his foot ripped off and the nerve at the side of foot is gone. Some of his bone was completely missing and other bits are just completely shattered.
This is a serious situation trying to a repair a foot whereby so much of his foot missing.
Keeping infection out as well as well as keeping the heel pad skin alive.
Jett has had multiple blood transfusions and has been in significant pain even with the huge cocktail of pain meds he is on.
The medical team are doing everything they can to save jett’s foot but they making it clear that this is a very serious injury. There will be multiple surgeries and high amount of continuous pain.
They have said that Jett won’t be able to work for a significant amount of time. There is multiple surgeries ahead as well as a lengthy hospital stay. (At least 4months).
I do not want him worrying about money or working, he just started his dream apprenticeship and was smashing goals.
Jett has so much ahead of him including many physical and mental challenges and I don’t want financial added to that.
This is for Jett, all funds are going direct to Jett. He is one of my most favourite humans and his the most amazing support to his sisters.
Jett has carried Lili while she has had seizures, unconscious and also when she is just losing her bananas and needs to be carried to bed.
He is always the first one to put up his hand to help others.
This is his turn to get some support.
