Jet came into our lives about 7 years ago and changed it forever. He's a smart mighty mutt that everyone loves the moment they meet him. Constant puppy eyes that show every emotion, you can't help but fall in love. Now he's a little bit more expressive.
After Thanksgiving we noticed he was being sensitive on one side of his face and he developed a lump above his eyebrow. We took him to the vet and found out he has squamous cell carcinoma. My worst fears coming true. It is a common form of skin cancer but it can sometimes appear in glands or sinuses. It is a malignant tumor and slow growing. It doesn't spread through the body but can be invasive locally. Our vet at Broadway Vet has been helpful and supportive. She's known Jet for a few years now and we trust her. She suggests that we find an Oncologist and get a CAT scan to know how invasive it is and what our treatment options are.
As a pet parent you want to do everything you possibly can. I don't want to say we can't save him because of money. So for the first time in my life, I'm asking for help. Please help us pay for Jet's treatment.
