Hi everyone, my name is Ashley Power, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Aaliyah and Karmin, two beautiful, strong young girls who are now facing an unthinkable loss — the passing of their father, Jesus.
I’ve had the privilege of knowing Harley and the girls for over five years now. In that time, I’ve witnessed the incredible love and strength that built their family. Jesus and Harley co-parented with grace, maturity, and deep care — always putting their daughters first. Alongside David, they created a support system rooted in love, patience, and teamwork. What they shared wasn’t always easy, but it was genuine and full of heart — and it shaped Aaliyah and Karmin into the kind, resilient young women they are today.
Before Jesus passed, they had been planning a special trip to Las Vegas to celebrate Karmin’s quinceañera. Aaliyah, who is now 16 and about to turn 17, was preparing to receive his truck — something she was proud of, and he was so excited to pass down. They had even started organizing a family trip to California and were working on making Karmin’s quinceañera everything she dreamed of.
Now, with Jesus no longer here to help carry out those plans, Harley and the girls still hope to honor him by following through — keeping his memory alive in the celebrations and moments he looked forward to sharing with them.
Jesus was a devoted father — the kind of dad who always showed up, who laughed with his girls, supported them, protected them, and loved them without limits. Aaliyah and Karmin were his whole world, and he worked hard every day to give them the best life he could.
This GoFundMe has been created to help cover funeral expenses, and more importantly, to help support Aaliyah and Karmin in the months ahead. Any remaining funds will go directly to them — to help carry forward the dreams their dad had for them, and to ease the weight of this unimaginable loss.
If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, it would mean the world. Thank you for keeping these two incredible girls in your thoughts and prayers.
With love and gratitude,
Ashley Power
