Hello everyone,

We are here again asking for your help in This dificulte time in need for Laura, for all of you that know her, you know that she is a good-hearted person, friendly, caring, going above and beyond to help others. She is a single mother of two, Jesus, 14 years old, and Damian, who is 12, and she is an exceptional mother! Despite everything that she has gone through, from Jesusito’s cancer when he was just a newborn, getting diagnosed with cancer herself a few years later.

After winning her own battle and surviving cancer, Jesus' cancer come back in 2020. Laura has always stayed strong and positive, never loses hope, and never gives up on her Faith. Laura raises her children as a single mother and she works so much, as she is their sole provider. As if her life was not complicated enough, she was involved in two car accidents; in which she broke her right foot and required immediate surgical intervention.

The massive trauma Laura has been through in the past 15 years in unimaginable.

As if that was not enough, on Monday Aug 4, Laura drove Jesus to the Phoenix Childrens hospital where they have stayed since; undergoing several tests after they found a mass in Jesus’ chest. Today the doctors gave them the most devastating news.. they explained that the mass in his chest is a lymphoma; Cancer is back. The lymphatic system is the body's disease-fighting network. It includes the lymph nodes, spleen, thymus gland and bone marrow.

Symptoms include enlarged lymph nodes, fatigue and weight loss.

Treatment may involve chemotherapy, medication, radiation therapy and rarely stem-cell transplant.

Again, I am writing this to ask for your support. Her situation is really complicated, and she needs all the help and support we can give her, and we must hope and pray for God to help Jesus recover soon and that they can go home soon.

Estamos aquí nuevamente pidiéndoles su ayuda en este momento tan difícil para Laura. Para todos los que la conocen, saben que es una persona de buen corazón, amable, atenta y siempre dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Es madre soltera de dos hijos: Jesús, de 14 años, y Damián, de 12, y ¡es una madre excepcional! A pesar de todo lo que ha vivido, desde el cáncer de Jesús cuando era recién nacido, hasta ser diagnosticada ella misma con cáncer unos años después.

Después de ganar su propia batalla y sobrevivir al cáncer, el cáncer de Jesús regresó en 2020. Laura siempre se ha mantenido fuerte y positiva, nunca pierde la esperanza ni su fe. Ella es madre soltera y trabaja muchísimo, pues es la única proveedora para sus hijos. Como si su vida no fuera ya bastante complicada, estuvo involucrada en accidentes automovilísticos, en los cuales se fracturó el pie derecho y necesitó una cirugía inmediata.

El enorme trauma que Laura ha vivido en los últimos 15 años es inimaginable.

Como si eso no fuera suficiente, el lunes 4 de agosto, Laura llevó a Jesús al Hospital de Phoenix, donde han permanecido desde entonces, realizándole varias pruebas después de encontrarle una masa en el pecho. Hoy los médicos les dieron la noticia más devastadora… explicaron que la masa en su pecho es un linfoma; el cáncer ha regresado. El sistema linfático es la red del cuerpo para combatir enfermedades. Incluye los ganglios linfáticos, el bazo, el timo y la médula ósea.

Los síntomas incluyen ganglios linfáticos inflamados, fatiga y pérdida de peso.

El tratamiento puede incluir quimioterapia, medicamentos, radioterapia y, en casos poco frecuentes, trasplante de células madre.

Escribo esto para pedirles su apoyo. Su situación es realmente complicada y necesita toda la ayuda y el respaldo que podamos darle. Debemos tener fe y orar para que Dios ayude a Jesús a recuperarse pronto y que puedan regresar a casa lo antes posible.
