Hi, my name is Guille Flores, and I am fundraising to help my brother and sister-in-law, who need it. My brother was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, MS, 12 years ago. He has struggled for years to pay for his treatments. We, as a family, have all contributed as much as possible to help with costs throughout the years. Just one treatment he needs daily costs about $1,578 a month. He owns a small computer shop that provides computers and internet for those that need it, but that business is dying as everyone now has cell phones. He is also the president of an organization called Asociacion Zacatecan de Esclerios Multiple, which is an organization that helps fundraise for treatments for people who suffer from multiple sclerois. All his work in this organization is volunteer, he does it because he knows how expensive the medicine is, and there is no financial help in Mexico. His wife, Teresa, has always worked and would financially help keep up with his treatments. However, during this pandemic, Teresa got sick, we are not sure if it was misdiagnosed Covid-19, but she ended up in the hospital for the first time for two weeks with what we were told to be severe pneumonia. She was released and later returned severely sick and was in the hospital for 25 days. Today she is diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis as well as having heart problems. She is now connected to an oxygen tank 24/7. She can not work, and now her bills and medical treatment are adding up. With Teresa no longer able to work, Jesus is now having to pay for his own and his wife's treatments on his own. My brother has always been a positive man; even when he got sick 12 years ago and was placed in a wheelchair, he remained hopeful and strong. With his wife now getting sick, both their health have been declining. He still tries to be strong, but I know he is struggling, and the pressure of figuring out if he can get their treatments for the next month is taking its toll. My family and his wife's family are contributing what we can, but that isn't enough anymore. We are asking for anything; the smallest donation would be greatly appreciated.
