Our beloved Jesus Castanares (aka Jessie Boy, Uncle Boy) passed away in his sleep after the Christmas Holiday. “Uncle Jessie” is survived by a large family of 4 sisters, 19 nephews and nieces and countless grand & great-grand nephews and nieces from all parts of the United States including Ireland and the Philippines.

Uncle Jessie lived a life of kindness and faith, a deep passion for the arts, music, film, photography, history and literature. He was a quiet gentle introvert and enjoyed the company of his books, playing various instruments -piano, chello, keyboard and accordion, watching films & documentaries and writing & recording classical music.

We will be celebrating Uncle Jessie’s life and memorial on 1/22 in his last place of residence of San Jose, CA. We appreciate your support, donations, prayers and good thoughts for Jesus Castanares (Uncle Jessie Boy) at this difficult and sorrowful time.
