Hello- we are Jessy's people- as are all of you. We are not sure how much you know of her story, which we will share here. On Wednesday May 7, 2025, Jessy was in a motorized scooter accident. Jessy is not sure what happened. However, this accident left her with multiple injuries and ongoing complications. Her original injuries have been a broken collar bone (now plated with screws), broken shoulder blade, 7 broken ribs (plated with screws) and a broken bone that is part of her knee. She also has had a lacerated spleen, liver, and gall bladder. After discharging home from these injuries, she was readmitted about two weeks later with sepsis from a part of her liver that was dying and infected. During this admission, she had part of her liver and all of her gall bladder removed. Due to the infection, she had two abdominal drains placed to help remove the infection. One drain was removed within one week and the other remains. Two weeks after her 2nd admission, Jessy was admitted for a third time with sepsis once again. This time, they could not find the source of the infection, however she was treated with antibiotics and sent home. She is currently at home and working on healing. As of late July 2025, Jessy owes $10,000 in bills after insurance coverage. We know she has not received all of her bills from her first visit and has not seen any of her bills from the 2nd and 3rd visits. In addition, Jessy has multiple in home visits with health care providers on a weekly basis, which she will also receive bills for.

Jessy has touched us all in the most amazing and giving ways. She is one of the most generous people we have ever met. Now is the time to reciprocate the care and love she has given all of us. She needs our help. If you are able, please donate to Jessy's GoFundMe, even if all you can afford is $5.00. Every dollar will make a difference.
