JESSICA SOBRINO MEDICAL EXPENSES FUND

As you all know, our good friend Jessica Sobrino was diagnosed with Leukemia while 6 1/2 months pregnant with her second son Emilio. Because of that, they had to deliver the baby prematurely and immediately start Jessica on Chemo. Emilio had to be placed on an Incubator on Texas Childrens Hospital's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, while Jessica stayed in St Lukes Hospital for over a month.  Thank god Emilio is doing great! He is healthy and growing and already at home.  After 20 Chemo treatments, 3 Spinal Taps, a stroke and a month and a half at the Hospital, she went back home. She is continuing with her treatment from home. Thank god Jessica's brother is fully compatible with her (100% match!!!) and the same blood type and he will donate Bone Marrow for her transplant which will happen in about a month and then she will need to be hospitalized again for another month to month and a half.  Adding insult to injury, because the current COVID situation, her husband and good friend Roberto lost his job and its currently taking care of Jessica and their 2 kids Emma (3) and Emilio (Newborn). Obviously with Jessica going thru this and the lack of income, there is a huge economical burden on top of them and a very uncertain economical future. FAMILY... ITS TIME TO HELP!!!... Thank you very much! Como saben, nuestra buena amiga Jessica Sobrino fue diagnosticada con Leucemia mientras tenia 6 1/2 de embarazo con su segundo hijo Emilio.  Por esta razón tuvieron que adelantar el parto e ingresar inmediatamente a Jessica para comenzar su tratamiento de Quimioterapias. Emilio tuvo que ser ingresado al Texas Childrens Hospital en una incubadora en cuidados intensivos pediátricos mientras que Jessica fue llevada a St. Lukes Hospital en donde permaneció por aproximadamente un mes y medio. Emilio se encuentra ya en casa sano y creciendo. Después de 20 tratamientos de Quimioterapia, un pequeño derrame cerebral y 3 punciones de medula, Jessica regreso a casa donde se encuentra continuando con su tratamiento. Gracias a dios el hermano de Jessica es compatible al 100% y tienen el mismo tipo de sangre y podrá donar Medula Osea para el tratamiento y transplante a Jessica, el cual ocurrirá en aproximadamente 30 días y por lo cual Jessica tendrá que ser hospitalizada nuevamente por otro mes y medio.  Encima de todo esto, su esposo y muy querido amigo Roberto perdió su trabajo a causa de la situación actual del COVID, y se encuentra actualmente atendiendo a Jessica y a sus dos hijos, Emma (3) y Emilio (Recien Nacido). Obviamente con la enfermedad de Jessica y el no tener ingresos, se encuentran pasando por una situación económica muy difícil y con un futuro incierto.
