On April 26, 2021, Jessup Rinehart sustained life threatening injuries to his face and head while working on an airbag that detonated in his face. He subsequently sustained multiple fractures to his face, lost several teeth, has a brain bleed, and is on life support. He will require extensive facial reconstruction in the upcoming months, possibly years. He and his wife, Carly, moved into their new home last month.
