Jess’s Journey - Heart & Lung Transplant

It’s been a tough year this year, and I really don’t know how to come about this.. My younger sister, Jessica Hernandez, most known for Jess, has been in the hospital (UAB) for the past two weeks. Not because of COVID but because she was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. Sadly, this disease isn’t curable so, its a major life changing experience for our family, especially for Jess.

Pulmonary hypertension got really bad for Jess… we just got word from doctors saying she is going to have to have a heart and lung transplant. We are officially on the waiting list for a healthy lung and heart for Jess. This is something that we didn’t see coming, but God had other plans.

A lot of people are asking me what they can do to help so, I have started a Gofundme account to help Jess’s condition.

Anything would help us out to cover most of the medical expenses, doctor’s visits, medications, food, gas..etc.
