Jess’s Fight Against MS — I’m Not Giving Up

This is honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, but I want to be open with you all about what I’m facing and why I need your help.

After a lot of researching every possible option, I’ve found a treatment in Mexico — a stem cell transplant that could completely reboot my immune system. The goal is to stop my body from attacking itself and give me a real chance at slowing or even halting the progression of my MS.

This treatment is intense. It involves three rounds of chemotherapy, and I will lose my hair. It’s not something I’ve chosen lightly — but it’s something I feel I have to do.

I know many people live with MS and manage day-to-day life, but sadly that hasn’t been my experience. Because of where my lesions are and how quickly things are progressing, I don’t feel like I have time to wait. I need to act now.

I’m not ready to accept this as my reality. I’m going to fight this with everything I have.

Most importantly — I’m a mum. My boys need me. I am their main support, their comfort, their stability… and the thought of not being there for them is something I can’t accept. That is what’s driving me to keep going and to do everything I possibly can.

To go ahead with this treatment, I need to raise £60,000. This will cover the treatment itself, travel, and accommodation.

I want to say this clearly — I’m not asking for money out of expectation. I’m asking for support. Even just sharing this fundraiser, sending a message, or keeping me in your thoughts means more than you could ever know.

If anyone has ideas for fundraising — events, workplace collections, anything at all — I would be so grateful. This truly is a lifeline for me.

If I had another way, I would take it in a heartbeat. I would sell everything I own if I could — but this is my only real option I don’t even have that amount in my house.
i am happy to document this journey so you can see how you are helping this isn’t about me this is about my son. I want to be able to play run watch his football games be his MUM!

Thank you for reading, for caring, and for standing by me. It means the world.
