My name is Jessika I am fundraising for breakthrough T1D, My goal is to raise money for insulin pumps and CGM continuous glucose monitoring for Families with children and infants with type 1 diabetes.
When a child lives with Type 1 diabetes every single day is a tightrope walk One small blood sugar slip can steal breath, dreams or life itself. For parents the fear never really switches off That’s why I’m fundraising for insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) systems for infants and children living with Type 1 diabetes.
These devices are life changing and life saving, They monitor glucose levels around the clock. They alert parents to danger before it becomes an emergency. They even stop insulin delivery automatically if levels drop too low. They bring something every family deserves safety, sleep, and the freedom for a child to just be a child. But here’s the reality One insulin pump costs $8,574. In today’s cost-of-living crisis that is simply out of reach for many families. My goal is to raise enough funds to fund four lifechanging insulin pumps through Breakthrough T1D programs. Every dollar raised goes directly to delivering insulin pumps and CGMs to the children who need them most.

Update: The fundraiser run in Penrith was such a beautiful day we had an absolute blast and met afew wonderful T1D families We’re incredibly grateful to share that we raised an amazing $351! While our overall goal is $40,000, every single dollar brings us closer and means so much. We’ll be keeping our GoFundMe page open to continue raising funds, which will be transferred directly to the nonprofit organisation supporting this cause. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far your kindness and generosity truly make a difference!
