In August 2009, Jessica had no idea that her life was about to be turned upside down and all loved ones around her would go through hell and back just to hear her sweet loving voice again. 

Jess went into cardiac arrest, causing her to lose oxygen to her brain.  Later we would find out that she was diagnosed with mennigitis. 

During this time Jess has been in and out of many surgeries and been fighting with all her might to get through this. 

Her parents and siblings have been unimaginably supportive, thinking of Jess first and foremost in this process.  It is because of them, that she has made it this far. 

This is going to be an incredibly long journey and thankfully, Jess has really started to embark on it.  She is starting to come to, and we believe that with our support she is going to get better and better every single day.   As most of you may remember, Jess had the ability to make anyone smile and most certainly laugh, whether you wanted to or not.  She was silly in all the best ways, and we are striving to revive this in her.  

This fundraiser is being made so that we can really lessen the load on their family, and most importantly that we can be free to try everything possible that will help with Jess.  This is for our beautiful, kind, strong, amazing friend.  This will help with more and more treatments and new therapies that we are researching everyday.
