Jessie Williams's Funeral

First and foremost I want to thank you for taking the time to click this link, donate, share, etc! I was not expecting to make a GoFundMe for my grandmother, but we've unfortunately been left with no other choice.

My grandmother, Jessie Williams, passed away at the age of 94 on February 29th, 2024. Before she passed, we had multiple conversations with her in terms of how she wanted us to navigate her remains, and the life insurance policy she had taken out for us to use. We had a limited amount of time and decided to hold the funeral on 3/9.

On March 5th, we were notified that the death benefit set aside for my grandmother from her policy was much less than we anticipated. After further search, we found out that she had taken out most of the money in her life insurance policy before passing which left us completely shocked and in a bind. With not enough time left before the funeral, we have no choice but to push back the service to March 15th. We need to raise this money by Tuesday, March 12th to proceed with the services and honor my grandmother's life.
