Jessie Sansano Jagonase memorial service

Hi, my name is Jessie Jagonase Jr and on behalf of my family it is with extreme sadness that I announce the sudden loss of my father, Jessie Sansano Jagonase. Who passed away at home on March 9, 2024.

My dad became extremely ill with a severe case of pneumonia and got diagnosed with valley fever. That led to complications which admitted him to the hospital where he spent the following four months at multiple facilities. He was discharged from the hospital on March 7th and passed away unexpectedly two days later, leaving behind his wife Erlinda and his five kids, Jessa, Jessie Jr., Jhesslee, Jassen, and Jett.

You may know Jessie Jagonase Sr. from Cuesta College, where he worked for the last 23 years in the facilities department. He was a hard-working man who dedicated his life to providing for our family and helping others. He always put the needs of others before his. Dad was someone we have always looked up to. He provided us with so much stability and loved us all in so many ways. I knew I could always rely on him.

Our family is heartbroken and there is no way to begin to describe how he will be missed by us all. I don’t think our hearts will ever be the same for those of you that knew him. There are no words that can bring my dad back, but it brings me comfort knowing how many lives he touched and the numerous people that have reached out to our family. All of your efforts do not go unnoticed. He will always be very loved by every one of us.

With his unexpected passing, our family is faced with the overwhelming burden of having to carry on without his financial support. I am setting up this account to seek help for the cost of a funeral service to give him the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory, and say our last goodbyes. Anything collected will also be designated for medical costs incurred so far during his hospital stays due to illness. We are so grateful for your generous support.

The service will be held on 3/23/2024 in the Marshall Spoo Sunset Funeral Chapel (1239 Longbranch Ave Grover Beach, CA 93433). Rosary 10:30am, viewing at 11am, and reception following right after in the same location. Anyone is welcome.
