My grandson Atticus was born w a twisted bowel and needed surgery before he was 2 days old. His mom and dad r living w him at sick kids hosp in toronto.  Since they live in sudbury dad is away from work and they r losing that income. They r having to spend money they dont have on food clothing etc.. it is not known yet when they will b able to leave the hosp since baby Atticus needs time to recover. Also there's been reason to believe he may have cystic fibrosis and they r waiting for those results as well.
