On September 7, 2017 one of our family members was in a hit and run accident on her way to celebrate her birthday. The driver left her in the crosswalk and continued to drive with no regard to her health. Jessie ended up with a broken nose and a broken ankle. The ankle is going to require surgery and as you all know an injury like this will keep her for working for a while.
In case you haven't had the privaledge to get to meet Jessie she is #23 seniority at our company and is known for taking the new hires under her wing. Jessie is the first to offer help and was the one that started the donation drive after the hurricane. She used her own money to buy the donation boxes and gave up her time to come in and organize everything. You will never find Jessie without a smile on her face.
We all know that we barely make enough money to survive but we are family and if everyone donated only $20 it would help her cover medical expenses not covered and will help her pay her bills due to lost wages. We have over 300 flight attendants in DFW alone where she usually alternates bases with IAH.
Please join me and let's help our beautiful friend, co worker and family member.
