Hello, I am Cathy Carroll, and I am asking for a huge favor by donating to a single mom of two children, Jessica Taylor. Jessica cleans our shop and home, and I know her personally. She works very hard to support her two children and has lived in the same house in Lakeside for three years with the rent being $1975 a month. The owner has made the decision to put the house on the market, and she has received a notice that she and her two children have to vacate the home in 60 days! With the cost of the first and second month rent, a deposit and the unbelievable high cost of rent, she is faced with this major financial hardship and really needs your help. I cannot stand the thought of her being faced with homelessness. I was a single mom with two children in the 1980’s, but I always had my parents that helped me when I needed it. Jessica receives $200 a month child support but is supposed to get more. Jessica has no family in a position to help. Her children are a 17-old daughter and will be a Senior in high school beginning 8/11/2025) and an 11-year-old son. Both her children are great kids. She desperately wants to keep them in their current school. Her daughter is a straight A student on the honor roll and volunteers at the VFW helping our beloved veterans. My heart will break if she winds up homeless. Please, even $25 a person will add up. I spend $25 on stuff I don't even need all the time. Keep in mind that she works tirelessly and does not get any public assistance. On another note, what comes around goes around, I believe in karma and to give whenever I can, and a lot of good things seem to come my way in life. It is always a great thing to spread a little love however you can, in this case please show this hard-working mother your love by donating to this cause.
