I have established this GoFundMe campaign for my high school best friend, Jessica Bacalla Lepiten, a 28-year-old resident of Soong II Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City. A devout follower of Christ, Jessica and I shared a passion for dance during our high school years. She is one of the most genuine and loving friends I have. Jessica was diagnosed with a dermoid ovarian cyst in 2021, which developed abnormally in her right ovary. This type of ovarian cyst contains various tissues, including hair, skin, teeth, and sometimes even nerve tissue. Jessica has been undergoing medication for over three years, with the hope of suppressing the cyst. However, the cyst is growing, causing her significant pain and discomfort. I have been assisting Jessica with her medication, but surgical removal is now necessary, as the cyst may rupture at any moment, posing a significant risk to her life.

Unfortunately, Jessica requires financial assistance to cover the costs of her operation. I am hopeful that this post will reach you and help my friend undergo the necessary surgery.
