My name is Rachel. I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my good friend and soul sister, Jessica, and her loving family. Her brother, Sean, wanted to share the following:

My sister, Jessica, recently suffered a severe stroke at just 45 years old. She has been living with Type 2 Diabetes, which has made this even more devastating. Nothing could have prepared us for how suddenly her life has changed.

She is currently in the hospital, facing a long and uncertain road to recovery. The stroke has left her paralyzed on her right side, affecting her mobility and speech. She will need intensive rehabilitation, ongoing medical care, and help with everyday tasks once she is able to return home.

Jessica is a fighter – she is funny, stubborn, and has always had a huge heart. She is the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone else, and now she needs our help more than ever.
