Jessica's recovering
Hi, My name is Abby Newell and as some of you know, my daughter Jessica Kimpel was diagnosed with chronic pancreatitis in January. Since that time, she has lost 80 pounds and has also been diagnosed with Cyclic vomiting syndrome. On July 18, she was admitted to Good Sam then transferred to Deaconess Hospital in Indiana with Septic Shock. She was a on life support for 5 days and was in the hospital for 13 days. Since January she has missed a lot of work due to being ill. She has not returned to work and not sure when /if she can. She was also diagnosed will at Deaconess with Dilated Cardiomyopathy. She sees a cardiologist on Aug 31 and will have a stress test after that. She is having surgery is St. Louis on Monday to remove the stint and the cyst from her pancreas. Her last day of work was July 17, 2021. At this point, expenses are outweighing income. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. This is very hard for me to ask for help. Her husband is working as much as he can during this time as well to try and stay afloat. They have a family to support as well.
