Hello, my name is Kendal. I am Jessica Strouse's Mother. I am here to ask you to help me to get my daughter Jessica the help she needs to get a DIAGNOSIS as to why she continues to get sicker by the day. I was sure we had her Gastroparesis under control since July after having the Neuro Stimulator implanted in July. It seemed she was getting some relief from nausea and any vomiting she was having. However, as time went on, she had some other issues arising, like central flushing in the face and arms. The flushing is so SEVERE it is causing her skin to burn, and her eyelids and eyeballs feel like they're all on fire. Along with this flushing, she has EXTREME BONE PAIN. The bone pain is severe enough she is now walking with a cane and slowly losing her ability to walk altogether.

We have been to 7 doctors and specialists, of which more than half were travels to Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. The doctors are having difficulty diagnosing this problem; in the meantime, Jessica is suffering tremendously from much pain.

Another issue is that she can not take narcotics for pain or nausea medications due to heart QT prolongation problems and her Gastrotestional issues. She is facing so much now and could use your help getting to and from these appointments. She has exhausted any credit cards she has for gas and lodging. Her trips back and forth to Traverse City also add up, and she could use any help you can give.

Her next step is another trip to Detroit for a BONE MARROW BIOPSY. She will also be seeing three more doctors in the next few weeks. She has gone to many doctor appointments throughout the last few months.

The worse part is we have NO ANSWERS YET.

I will open a page for Jessica on Facebook so everyone can follow along and know how she is doing and what's going on. It has been a very long journey; she is tired of being sick 24/7.
