Friends and family,
My mother, Jessica, has been diagnosed with brain cancer.
Jessica was diagnosed in early 2024 with triple negative Stage 2 breast cancer.
Jessica was never afraid of any odds stacked against her, never gave up hope or strength, and was able to beat her breast cancer.
Months later into the year, Jessica complained about frequent severe headaches. Thinking it was the impact of remission & chemotherapy, doctors discovered a malignant brain tumor/mass near the cerebellum.
Jessica, against all odds again, found strength and was able to have it removed and continued her radiation treatments.
However, as of February 2025, Jessica was diagnosed with brain cancer which also impaired her left eye’s mobility & has now spread technically into her nervous system.
Jessica maintained her strength since day one & was now ready to spearhead her third fight with cancer.
Jessica was admitted into neurosciences inpatient and began receiving heavy treatment.
Yet, with the side effects and symptoms stemming from treatment and cancer, Jessica‘s treatment was no longer helping — but hurting her more. The quality of life rapidly deteriorated. Jessica is no longer able to be independent and is regressing.
Jessica knew of the realistic outcomes of her war against cancer. Jessica and her husband have prepared for this situation to play out.
As of February 15th, Jessica is on hospice care. Plans and her quality of health are consistently changing.
Yet, she is surrounded daily by her faith, friends, coworkers, family, and a phenomenal team of doctors and nurses.
We are given little time left with Jessica.
Jessica is a mother, sister, friend, cousin, niece, tia, wife, & much more to everyone.
The Gomez & Pedroza family, we are committed to providing comfort & care for my mother as we approach the final moments of life.
The funds raised will be towards her funeral proceedings & final resting spot.
If you wish to see Jessica, please do not hesitate and contact me.
Thank you for your time.
Her son,
David.
