On September 30, 2019, our beautiful Jessica passed into the arms of Jesus.
Holding onto the hope of remission and this being a long healing process, we were all blind-sighted, especially Jessica. Never could we have imagined upon her diagnosis that she would only have 2 months left in this life. Her last few weeks were a battle between her, the cancer, and the strongest chemotherapy medicines out there. She fought hard.
We are beyond devastated at the loss of our brightest light. Jessica impacted so many lives. From her family, to her extended family, to her friends, and to the lives she taught in the classroom. Her legacy will continue on through all of us.
We ask at this time for support for the family she leaves behind. Her three children Mason (6), Emma (5), and Addilyn (16 months) along with her incredible husband Justin.

I am writing this on behalf of my humble, kind, and strong sister, Jessica Murdock. On July 29, 2019, she was diagnosed with T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
She is a 31 year old mother of three darling children, wife to her supportive husband Justin, and a kindergarten teacher.
She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment while hospitalized at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, while her sweet kiddos and husband are at home in Virginia. She is having to take a leave of absence from work this year as treatment will be ongoing and we’ve had a lot of people reach out to see how they can help their family during all of this so we wanted to provide a way for that.
