Jessica's Colon Surgery Recovery
Jessica had colon resection surgery on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017. The surgery was supposed to last 2 hours, but ended up going for over 10 hours. Jessica was seemingly recovering alright, but yesterday, she started vomiting an army green color bile. They put a tube in her nose to help give her some relief. After x-rays and a consult with her surgeon, she will be kept on a nose tube and has been diagnosed having Ileus (A painful obstruction of the ileum or other part of the intestine). She's required to have the tube in for a couple more days. The hope is that the suction will get things moving. She's in a lot of pain, but she's still alive and kicking. I've set up this GoFundMe to help keep Jessica's bills at bay while she pushes through the recovery. She has been out of work since the beginning of March and is not sure when she'll be able to get back to work until she's cleared. I will update as we find out more. Thank you.
