Helping Jessica

My sister Jessica is a 31 year old single mother who has recently learned that she is losing her fight with breast cancer.  I created this page to help pay for travel expenses so she can make some lasting memories with her 7 year old daughter Jenna. 

In July of 2013, Jessica was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. She underwent chemotherapy during the fall of 2013. It was very debilitating for her and resulted in her hospitalization twice for pneumonia. She had a mastectomy in July of 2014. This summer she noticed a fast growing lump under her arm. On Friday, Jessica learned her cancer was back with a vengeance. It returned in her axillary lymph nodes and the "spot" on her lung turned out to be an inoperable metastasis. Her prognosis is not good and doctors estimate that she has a year or less to live. 

In her remaining time she would like travel with her daughter and family. Jessica wants to take Jenna on some mini trips near North Palm Beach where  they live. She also wants to go up the coast from San Diego to San Francisco. We lost our dad to lung cancer in 2008 and one thing she wants to do is cross something off of his bucket list, which was to see Lefty O'Doole's .
