My dear friend Jessica Tullier was diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Pancreatic Cancer. With her being under 40, this is even more rare for someone to be diagnosed at that age. Some of you know that Jessica is a RN. She was fighting along the front lines of the Covid-19 epidemic when she fell ill in March and after a brief hospital stay, she was diagnosed with cancer.
With insurance, Jessica will have to pay roughly $1000 for each treatment until she reaches her deductible and out of pocket max. She still owes $5500 for her short hospital stay and $2000 for the port that was put into her chest to help with the chemo. Basically Jessica will have to pay over $11, 000 for the rest of the year to cover her current and future medical costs this year.
She started chemo treatments on April 8th. She can no longer work and does not have short term disability. She will have to go without income until her long term disability kicks in. Being a single mom is hard enough, but being a single mom with a terminal cancer, no income and a son to raise is even harder. I want to help her and I believe that everyone that knows her would like to help her as well.
The funds that are donated will be used for medical expenses, utilities, food, and for every day maintenance to be used at her discretion during and after treatment.
If you can't donate, there are other options. Grocery shopping, help with meals, rides to and from treatments and anything else you can think of...
Please keep Jessica in your prayers as she battles this horrible disease and
