I’m raising a total of $36,400 to pay for complete recovery and rehabilitation from the Chronic Lyme Disease that I have had for 34 years.
$7400 is for the Lyme Laser Center Program for Phases 1, 2 and 3. They require payment up front before I begin their protocol. The other $5000 is for the Physical Therapy and rehabilitation of my body plus treatment for the trauma caused by living in severe pain for so many years. $8000 is for unpaid medical expenses from so many years of fighting. $16,000 is for some of lost of the lost income from being so sick so help cover some of our daily expenses.
The Lyme Laser Center says they are the answer to Lyme Disease. Wow! That’s exciting! Up to this point there has been no real way to deal with Lyme Disease and it just keeps trying to kill me. I read about people dying from Lyme almost every week. Over the last 19 years it has almost taken me out 3 times. My main goal everyday for the last 19 years has been to stay alive and functional. I am determined to be the one who raises my 3 beautiful children! But my everyday life completely revolves around the symptoms of Lyme Disease and the treatments I do just to stay somewhat functional and alive.
We spend over $800 a month on maintenance treatments to keep me from being completely bedridden. Which has caused us to be on a sinking ship financially with everything in our lives in disrepair. I still have flu-like symptoms and pain that takes all my effort to function with a smile on my face. If you know me then you know I make a choice to not complain and I get up everyday and make every effort to make the most of my life. But I’m traumatized and exhausted from the years of no relief. I honestly haven’t seen a doctor for Lyme in 8 years because they don’t accept insurance and there have been no new treatments that might actually give me full relief. Well, I am cautiously optimistic and excited about a new program that is now available that I just learned about. Not only does it actually sound like it will help me, but the center just recently opened up in MY town. WHAT!?!? That is a huge deal because in the past my specialist was 7 hours away! I have the chance to work with experts that are actually helping others get their lives back after Lyme has destroyed them!
In the past 19 years we have been financially devastated from all the bills, while I have not been able to work much. So, now that there is an actual chance that I could get well and really get back to living, we have nothing left. There is no money to pay for this life saving program for me. I’m so thankful that the Lyme Laser Center gave me a free Assessment so I was able to make an informed decision! I’m ready to start their program!

Throughout this journey I have been tough, self sufficient, and determined to not burden others with my life troubles… because don’t we all have problems?! But I realize that there is a time and place to call out to family and friends for help when there is a life line you can’t reach on your own. So, that is where I am. I literally don’t have the money to do this treatment. I have a chance to live a healthy life but it is not within my reach and I am completely overwhelmed with emotions that I don’t even have words for right now.
