Support Jessica Vraa's Fight Against Cancer

Jessica is officially in REMISSION!

Doctors will be closely monitoring her over the next few months to ensure her test results continue to indicate her progress is stable.

My 26 year old sister Jessica was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The diagnosis came exactly one month after losing her third child at 30 weeks gestation.

She began having unknown pregnancy complications mid-term. As time went on her condition worsened and at 30 weeks Jessica and Jacks sweet angel child, Levi Arnold was born still. There was little time for grieving as Jessica’s condition was rapidly declining. So we desperately sought additional opinions and care.

Thankfully Jessicas new physician quickly confirmed the root of all of these concerns was Choriocarcinoma, a rare gestational cancer. Unfortunately, this specific type of cancer spreads rapidly and had already made it to her lungs and liver.

Since the diagnosis, Jessica has undergone 2 full rounds of chemotherapy. On her 3rd round, she had a severe anaphylactic reaction to the medicine and was in the ICU until she could recover. Future treatments will now be administered in the ICU.

Jessica and her husband Jack have a 5 year old, Layla and 3 year old, Lucas. While we have a supportive village of incredible people around us, medical bills have no remorse. We ask that if you could help in any way, that 1) you PRAY! and 2) if you could help us with finances for the hospital bill while Jessica & Jack focus their energy on healing.

Our entire family is tremendously grateful for the outpouring of support and love we have been shown during this especially difficult chapter of our lives.

Jessica is ready to kick cancers ass and we aren’t going to let her fight a single second of this battle alone.
