For those of you who do not know Jessica, she is an amazing human being. She is a smart, educated mother of 3 amazing, beautiful children- McKenzie, Benjamin and Ryleigh. Her kids are her entire world.
Over the last few years Jessica has faced some life changing experiences. She fought hard through breast cancer enduring the chemo and radiation treatments what made her very ill. She came out on top of that and was getting back to living and loving her life with her babies.
About a month ago Jessica began having headaches and it was affecting her vision. She was taken by ambulance to the ER where they did a CT scan and found a tumor on her brain stem. They rushed her down to Henry Ford where they were able to drain the tumor and give her some steroids to reduce the swelling on her brain. After a couple weeks she was released home to start out patient care. Jessica was home a week and started to rapidly decline. She was losing functionality. Unable to walk, talk and even stay awake. We knew she need to get back into the hospital for care.
As of today, Jessica has been back at Henry Ford a little over a week. The plan was to perform a very risky surgery that was the last resort for Jessica. Unfortunately, yesterday we were informed that Jessica is now in a coma and intubated. She now has an infection and placed on morphine for comfort care. Her mom Brenda has been at her bedside and we were able to get the kids up to see their mom today. Tomorrow they plan to remove the ventilator and the family will say their “see ya laters”.
Jessica does not have life insurance and there is going to be a financial strain on her family to cover the memorial costs. I created this fundraiser in hopes that we can support them during this very difficult time.
We love Jessica so dearly and ask that you all pray for her children. They are still so young and have a long road of healing ahead.
Thank you for the support for Jessica.
Update:
Last night Jessica was taken off the ventilator we sat with her children at bedside until she took her last breath at 732pm

This is something no teenage child should have to witness. My heart broke 10 times over last night and continues to hurt knowing the only thing they want for Christmas is the momma back.
Your donations are very much appreciated and I cannot thank you enough for the love and support shown for her 3 babies.
