Hello my name is Christian, I am the eldest son of Jessica. My family, and I are reaching out for much needed support for the abrupt; yet surreal funeral of (daughter/mother/sister/friend)Jessica Sermeno Vasquez-Bolaines. Jessica had passed peacefully in her sleep on the early morning of October 24th, 2023. To us she had always been a very supportive and dedicated mother/sister/daughter. To others, like her co-workers, she may have came off as somewhat distant, yet thoughtful and sweet. No matter how you knew her, she will always remain a free-spirited woman; to whom we shall always cherish. After passing away so suddenly, and so young for someone her age. Our family was hit with sudden unexpected/unwarranted hardships; and have been struggling to cope with the heartache of her loss.

Prior to her passing, Jessica was just shy of consummating her first year since medical release from distressing bodily symptoms. She had been hospitalized due to complications with unprecedented heart disease, lung disease, and diabetes. Subsequently, these illnesses caused her bodily functions to begin failing and the action of her being placed on a ventilator. Despite what seemed like her final moments, she made a drastic recovery all while being placed on leave for medical disability from work. We remember that she would place much inspiring effort into her own rehabilitation. While suffering through all her recent endeavors, she would come back from therapy glowing with radiance and spur for new recovery ambitions. However, through all her triumphant treatment milestones and accomplishments nothing could have blindsided us more than her unfortunate passing.

Per specific funerary wishes of hers. We plan on cremating with the exception of no viewing or burial services. We understand that this is controversial as opposed to traditional services, but as her family we'd like to honor her wishes. As you donate and make tribute to Jessica, we’d like to thank you for your much appreciated contributions. As well as, wish that you keep in mind our family and respect our privacy while we continue to grieve this tragic loss.
