Our dear friend Jessica Rice was involved in a serious car accident last week when the driver of the vehicle in which she was riding swerved to avoid a deer and hit a tree. Jess had to be cut from the vehicle and was transported to the nearest hospital where it was determined that she suffered fractured ribs and serious neck and head injuries that required her to be flown to the trauma center at Westchester Medical Center in New York. Jess underwent a grueling ten hour surgery to fuse the cervical vertebrae in her neck. Weeks of recovery and physical therapy lie ahead but Jess is a strong person as we all know. We have started this page for Jess and her family to help with unreimbursed medical expenses and rehabilitation costs. Please consider helping Jess and her family during this difficult time.
