Jessica Lucero could use some help...

Ever have “one of those days”? My friend and coworker Jessica Lucero has had one of those days x 2! This past weekend, (April 3) Jessica woke up to discover her car missing from her space in her complex. Unfortunately, the worst-case scenario did in fact happen… her car was stolen. Those of you who know Jessica, know that this is the only vehicle she has to transport her teenage kids to and from school and other various activities, and to get herself to work. Jessica is hoping her car will be found, but if it is not, she will have to pay for a new vehicle since her insurance company will not pay her for the full value of her car.

Then, to make matters worse, on Monday her beloved family cat, Kitt, dislocated her leg and needs to have surgery to repair it or possibly amputate it. Kitt is in a lot of pain right now, so until surgery happens, Jessica is just trying to keep her comfortable. If any of you have had to get surgery on your pets, you know that it is very expensive. Her other option is to put Kitt down which she does not want to do because Kitt is a young otherwise healthy cat and a member of her family since she was a kitten.
