Jessica & Chris with emergency veterinary bills

Many of you know my friend, Jessica, her husband Chris, and her sweet dog Boots. Unfortunately, this week Boots became very ill due to ingesting a toy (unbeknownst to Chris & Jessica) & had to be rushed to the ER. The next two days he underwent diagnostics, hospitalization and emergency exploratory surgery. Last night Boots seemed well enough to come home but within hours had to be taken back to the hospital. He didn't make it. Jessica & Chris are grieving the loss of their precious pup but also have a $5,000 vet bill they now have to worry about.
