Jessica and Her Kids Need our Help
Donation protected
Dear family, friends, and generous supporters,
Jessica and her kids need our help!
I’m reaching out to you in desperation for my beautiful 33-year-old niece, Jessica Favazzo.
On April 4, 2024, Jessica was involved in a near fatal car accident where she lost control of her vehicle while making a turn on a windy road that resulted in her vehicle flipping over leaving her in critical condition. Jessica was soon found by the local paramedics that deemed her condition to be critical, immediately airlifting her to the nearest hospital.
She was soon rushed into surgery where she had internal bleeding, swelling of the brain, broken ribs, deflated lungs, liver laceration and fractures of the sternum, thoracic and cervical spine. By the grace of God, she made it through surgery but is stripped away from the idea of a normal life.
Today is the 13th day since Jessica’s near fatal car accident and she has already had three surgeries. Jessica is now paralyzed from the chest down and her doctors are hopeful that she will eventually live a productive life after numerous more surgeries and physical therapy. This news has turned our world upside down, but amidst the challenges and the long, tough road ahead, we are determined to rally around her and support her on her journey through recovery and rehabilitation.
We are extremely grateful for every day that Jessica is still with us, and her children still have their mother to love and guide them through life with our support.
I am humbly asking for any help you can give to help my niece with the essentials that is needed for her recovery. Every contribution will make a difference in her healing.
Here is what your donations will go towards:
1. Medical expenses: Covering costs of hospital stays, doctor consultations, medications, and specialized treatments tailored to her condition. She was in the ICU for 9 days and her insurance is not going to cover all expenses.
2. Rehabilitation services: Enabling access to physical therapy, psychotherapy and any other essential services crucial to Jessica’s recovery and rehabilitation.
3. Mobility Aids and Adaptive Equipment: Providing necessary tools and devices to aid in her mobility and everyday activities, ensuring she can regain her independence.
4. Home Modifications: Adapting her living space to accommodate her needs and ensure a safe environment for her recovery journey.
5. Support for Daily Living: Assisting with daily living expenses, such as groceries, utility bills, and other essentials, to alleviate financial stress during this challenging time.
For those of you who don’t know my niece, Jessica is one of the most generous and giving people you’ll ever know. She adores her children and her entire family. When her grandfather was very ill, before his passing, she lived with her grandparents to help in his care. She would not hesitate to help those in need. The reason why I wanted to share just this tiny bit of information is because my sister recently shared with me a couple days ago that while at Jessica’s bed side, her nurses were guiding my sister on how to care for her daughter, and while this was going on Jessica turns to her mom and says, “I’m so sorry.” It broke her heart to hear her daughter was feeling so bad that her mother had to deal with her situation.
I know all the money in the world will not give Jessica her life back the way it was, but it would help in providing the best quality of life that we possibly can for her and her children.
Thank you for reading our story…
With Gratitude,
From her brother, Matt; parents, Jon and Linda Lee; Great grandmother, Rosie; Grandma Linda; Cousins: Robby, Mikey, Madeline, Layla; Aunt Tootsie, Aunt Christina, Uncle Toto, Aunt Gordas; Lacey and Jaxon (her kids) and Mark
