Hello everyone!

I am assuming that most people reading this post will know who I am but if you do not, I am Jess. I am a trans-masculine person working as a Freelance Theatre Producer.

For as long as they have been there, my "tits" have been a source of dysphoria. I have been saving for top surgery ever since I found out what it was in 2019. I have tried everything I can to lesson their appearance daily. Unfortunately, due to my chronic pain (recently diagnosed as fibromyalgia) wearing a binder is no longer an option for my ribs/back. Therefore, the need for top surgery has become even more urgent for me to continue to live a Fulfilling Life.

I have an initial appointment with a potential consultant surgeon in April 2024, and I am so excited to be beginning this journey of gender affirming healthcare.

I am continuing to save what I can where I can and am now asking for help to ensure that I can pay for

the surgery cost itself
related medical expenses (consultation appointments, aftercare products, etc)
sufficient time off work to recover & rest

At the moment, this fundraiser is an estimated goal based on thorough research combined with what I have saved to contribute. I will keep the page updated as I learn more. Anything raised over the goal that is not spent on my own surgery will be donated back to other people raising money for gender affirming healthcare costs, especially those like me with other chronic illnesses.
