Honduras Mission Trip

Hi, everyone! Anyone who knows me well knows I feel very deeply for those who are suffering. I constantly have this void and yearning to help those who are in need, and feel as though I am never doing enough. Since I am a part of such a wonderful physician assistant program, I have been given the opportunity to go to Honduras to bring medical supplies and provide healthcare to individuals there. The amount of money I'm trying to raise includes the cost of the trip (which includes food, fees, etc.) as well as my plane ticket to get there. As I'm sure many of you know, countries like Honduras are very short on quality healthcare and resources. Anything I can do to help is worthwhile to me, whether it is administering vaccines or just making one person smile. I am hoping that any donations I receive are viewed as donations for the people of Honduras. These funds are not for me or for a vacation; the money will be utilized to positively influence their lives and hopefully make a difference. The organization we will be working with is Global Brigades. Not only students from my PA class will be going, but my professors and other certified healthcare providers as well. I am very excited and feel incredibly grateful to be given this opportunity and want to thank everyone in advance for their kindness and donations.
