Our beloved Jesse L. Villegas III went home to Heaven on Wednesday, August 31, 2016.
Jesse was a respected member of the Austin music scene and was the original guitarist of the metal band, Militia. Music was in his blood and he was an amazing, self-taught guitar player. Jesse was devoted to his family and loved praying for them and anyone who asked. He always had a smile on his face and loved talking about the Lord and the Dallas Cowboys. He is survived by his mother, Linda Villegas; father, Jesse Villegas Jr.; sister, Priscilla Villegas and husband Joe C. Zapata; children, Derrick Villegas, Jessica Villegas, and Jarrett Villegas; grandchildren, Derrick Villegas, Jr., Jesiah R. Hernandez, Laylah C. Villegas, and Jazlynn N. Renteria; nephew, John David Flores, Jr.; nieces, Desiree and Leanne, and various aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Due to financial difficulties, we are asking for assistance sending Jesse off with the funeral he deserves. We appreciate any amount you are able to contribute and you have our heartfelt thanks. Any amount over the funeral expenses will be for his immediate family in their time of need.
Go with God, Jesse.
We love you.
