Jessie's Surgeries Were A Success! However....
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Caroline and I am raising money for my friend Marianne and her pup Jessie. They have been through an incredible ordeal over the past 6 months. I won't bore you with the intimate details. Suffice it to say, that after a routine spay surgery, Jessie stopped being able to breathe through her nose. After multiple trips and examinations locally, Marianne was referred to Boston for a diagnosis. After umpteen special expensive procedures, it was revealed that Jessie had imperforate nasopharyngeal stenosis. And what that basically means is that she could not breathe through her nose due to scar tissue build-up. Due to the severity of the pup's stenosis, the Boston vet referred Marianne and Jessie to a hospital in NYC; the only place in the New England area that could perform the necessary procedures and follow-up care.
These funds will cover 4 trips to NYC, including 2 overnights for surgery, medical bills (over $11, 000), and all treatments provided to date. If you know Marianne at all, you know that she has a huge heart and is kind as the day is long. She is one of the hardest working people I know. If you are at all able to help out, she (and I) will be forever grateful.
