Hi my name is Abigail as some of you may know my husband Jesse was struck by a pick up truck on his motorcycle this Saturday 10/9/21 at around 6pm on moriches middle island road in Shirley NY. He was air lifted to StonyBrook University hospital with life threatening injuries. He was in surgery for 6 hours with internal bleeding which led to his spleen being removed and a compound fracture in his right leg and fractures to his left ankle and foot. He is in the hospital and will be continuing to get multiple surgeries on his legs while he is here even after then he will be needing metal plates and screws put in his right leg and multiple bone grafts. This will be a long road for the both of us. He was the primary worker. I only work part time and obviously have to miss work due to this so anything will help us through these hard times.
