Jesse's Missions Trip and Internship in South Africa
Donation protected
This is Paul Andrew here, raising money for my son Jesse who is returning to Africa this summer for a very important trip. Since he was about five years of age his mom Andi and I have been taking him on missions and ministry trips to southern Africa.
Jesse has long had a heart for southern Africa and it's people. Now he has been invited to serve through a summer internship at a ministry in Mokopane, South Africa, called Reaching A Generation. He first visited them at age 13, and before that trip was over they had sown a seed of vision for him to come back one day. What's unique about their ministry is that not only do they have Celebration Church Mokopane , and various R.A.G. ministries to children and the needy in South Africa and Zambia, but they also have Shikwaru Lodge where we've stayed several times.
Jesse has a dream to be a PH (a hunter guide) when he graduates high school and at Shikwaru they operate one of the premium game reserves in the region. This summer he'll be 17 and heading into his senior year of high school so this is a crucial time for forming both his faith and his future career. This trip is both a missions trips and a professional internship. Through the church and ministries he will serve in many ways every week amongst the poor and the next generation. At the same time he will glean invaluable experience in hospitality, game management, property logistics, hunter safety and tracking, and so much more. He will also serve alongside groups I am personally leading for the first two weeks, as I lead soul care retreats for pastors through Barnabas Network and Pastors Collective .
The funds we raise will cover his economy airfares (which are currently much higher internationally), ground transportation, accommodation, meals, training experiences, and an opportunity to hunt.
I invite you to join with us in investing in Jesse's future through this tremendous opportunity to serve, to learn, and grow.
