Help Jesse Fight MS and Reclaim His Life!

Donation protected
At just 23 years old, Jesse was diagnosed with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis — a life-altering disease he has spent the last 15 years fighting with strength, faith, and an unwavering determination to stay healthy for his family. Despite everything he has overcome, MS is now taking a heartbreaking toll.

Today, Jesse lives with drop foot, tremors, and serious balance issues that impact him every single day. Walking — something most of us take for granted — has become a struggle. The hardest part? Not being able to run, play freely, and keep up with his two young children. Watching from the sidelines is breaking his heart. Anyone who knows Jesse knows how athletic he has always been. Sports were a major part of his life — playing, competing, coaching, and staying active. It was a huge part of who he was, and he always imagined sharing that same love of movement with his kids.

But there is hope-a second chance

Jesse has been accepted for life-changing Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) at Clinica Ruiz in Puebla, Mexico — a leading, specialized center giving MS patients a real chance to halt the progression of this disease.

HSCT is an intensive treatment. Chemotherapy is used to reboot the immune system, and Jesses own stem cells are then used to rebuild it — with the goal of stopping MS in its tracks. The journey will not be easy. The treatment is rigorous, and recovery will take time and strength. But this offers something we haven’t had in years: hope for stability, hope for healing, hope for a future not defined by MS.

Why We Need Help

The total cost of this journey — travel, four weeks of medical care, accommodations, meals, and the long recovery afterward — is $80,000. Many people don’t realize the true cost of HSCT, and we wanted to be transparent. Knowing the actual amount helps people understand the scale of support needed.

On top of the treatment costs, Jesse will be unable to work for 6-12 months. HSCT involves aggressive chemotherapy, immune suppression, and a long, vulnerable recovery period. He will need rest, rehabilitation, and months of follow-up care. This makes the financial burden even heavier for our family.

This treatment gives Jesse the best chance to stop the disease, rebuild stability, and hopefully return to the active life he once had.

How You Can Help

We are humbly asking for help in giving Jesse this chance at healing and a future where he can be the father, partner, and person he dreams of being. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to making this possible. Your generosity truly means more than words can express.

Important Dates

Treatment begins: April 27th, 2026
Goal: Raise 25% by February 27th, 2026
We will share updates throughout Jesse’s journey so everyone who supports him can walk with him every step of the way.

From Our Family to Yours

Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your love, prayers, and support. God bless you all.

With love,
The Sklar Family
