A feature length documentary film on the life of Jesse Pomeroy, who was thirteen years old when he murdered two children in Boston in 1874. The film explores Jesse's entire life of torturing children, reading dime novels, the trial, and his extensive time in solitary confinement. The film features period photographs, reenactments, artistic recreations and expert interviews.
The first ever film to focus on the life story of Jesse Pomeroy and his case.
THE PRODUCTION

Filmmaker John Borowski is now back to completing this film on Jesse Pomeroy.
INITIAL FUNDRAISER #1
In 2017, there was an initial fundraising campaign for this documentary, which raised $2,500, which was utilized for filming an interview with Dime Novel expert librarian Matthew Short from Northern Illinois University, initial research, and completing the final screenplay. All existing contributions from the first campaign will be honored. Multiple contributions will be honored and totaled for the various producer credit perks.
FUNDING DETAILS
The total amount of $17,500 will be used for funding the completion of the final film including:
- Trips to Pennsylvania and Boston to film four interviews with experts.
- Filming reenactments.
- Hiring artists for artistic recreations of aspects of the case.
- Hiring a composer for the score and sound editor/mixer.

There are no physical perks for this fundraiser. Instead, you may contribute any dollar amount in exchange for credit in the film and on IMDB. Here is what you will receive for contributing:
- $5-9: Special Thanks in film credits and IMDB.
- $10-$200: Credit in the film as contributor and on IMDB.
- $225-$300: Credit as an associate producer.
- $1,000 & above: Credit as an executive producer.
