Jesse James Shock

Donation protected
We are heartbroken to share that Jesse James Shock “the outlaw man,” 14, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Grove City from an accident while swimming.

He was a freshman at Marysville High School where he was a member of the wrestling team. Jesse was also active in Jiu-jitsu and enjoyed playing video games, swimming and studying Japanese culture. An avid reader, he not only kept a collection of the books he has read, he also had quite the collection from all of his other interests. He formerly participated in football, baseball and soccer, was known to watch the same movies over and over, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

For those who would like to help his family with ongoing meals, loss of income, and other unexpected costs, contributions can be made via gofundme.

We are truly in shock at the loss of our precious boy, but our hearts know he is at peace with Jesus. Please keep us in your prayers as we process and grieve this monumental loss.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. – 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Wilson Funeral Home, Marysville. Funeral services will be held privately for the family at 11:00 A.M. Monday, September 11, 2023 and burial will follow at the Oakdale Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.wilsonfuneralhomesinc.com
