On December 26, 2022, my brother-in-law, Jesse Grimes, passed away tragically in a work-related accident, leaving behind his wife, Emma Stryker Grimes, and their 9-month-old daughter Iggy.

Jesse and Emma were just starting their life together, having purchased their first home in October 2021, welcomed their daughter into the world in March 2022, and recently married in October 2022. Jesse was a kindhearted, devoted family man who absolutely adored Emma and Iggy.

Without Jesse, her husband and life partner, Emma is now faced with navigating life as a single mother. Unfortunately, Jesse did not have life insurance. They had recently talked about it but were still newlyweds and it didn't seem to be an urgent priority. Emma has a good steady job but she’s going to be seriously stretched to make ends meet on her own.

Many have asked how they can support Emma and Iggy, so this fund was created to do so. Any contributions that can be made to support Emma and Iggy during this difficult time and into the next chapter of their life are deeply appreciated. All donations will be used to meet current living expenses (mortgage, utilities, car payment, daycare) and to directly support raising Jesse's beautiful daughter, Iggy.
