Support Jesse's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Hi everyone this page is being created by Jesse's biggest fans to help fundraise to support his road to recovery after a traumatic and life-changing event.
On Thursday, February 23rd, Jesse was involved in a vehicular accident in a sub-zero blizzard. The incident left him disoriented and injured. He attempted to walk home through the elements to get home to his dogs, exposed to below-freezing temperatures and wind chill until his body collapsed with miles to get home to his beloved pups. He was rushed to the ICU with severe hyperthermia and both 3rd and 4th-degree frostbite. In what can only be described as a miracle, Jesse defied the odds, survived and woke up well before doctors ever expected. He has since been moved into a Burn Reconstructive Surgery Unit where he begins his next journey to heal and recover. At this time we do not know exactly how long this journey will be or what it entails, but we do know it will be long and will require incredible strength.
Everyone who knows Jesse loves him. His love for his family, friends and most importantly his babies (Rey and Kylo) are what define him. His laugh, jokes and smile are infectious. Jesse has the biggest heart of anyone we know and would give the shirt off his back for a stranger. He is selfless, puts his babies first and will never be the one to ask for help, which is why we are here asking for him. We are so incredibly grateful to have Jesse here with us and continue to be blown away by his resilience, he is truly an inspiration to us all.
There is still much unknown in Jesse's recovery and out of respect for Jesse and his story we ask that you send him messages of love and encouragement only. Please send all messages of love to Jesse and direct any questions you may have to his family.
This GoFundMe will be used towards Jesse's medical expenses, recovery and living expenses for himself and his babies, as he will not be able to return to work for an undetermined amount of time.
Please see his CARING BRIDGE page for updates on his recovery.
Thank you to everyone who has sent love, prayers and healing energy toward Jesse, we can never express our gratitude enough. Please know he is feeling it all and keep it coming!
