Friday, October 11th one of my best friends was involved in a car accident and slammed into the back of a tractor trailer truck. She is very lucky and left the scene with only a broken leg and a totaled car. Those who know Jess knows that she is outgoing, generous, determined and stubborn. She is not the type of person who would ask anything of anyone - which lead me to creating this gofundme. Jess had surgery on her leg and is now recovering. Since her line of work is cosmetology, she is unable to work at the time and is not covered by medical or disability insurance. She will be out of work for about 12 weeks with no income. Jess is a single mother of an amazing boy who she puts first. My hope is to raise enough money to help pay her bills while she is out of work so she can focus on purchasing a car when she is able to drive again.
