Jess racing with the Australian U23team in Europe

Hello everyone!

What a year! After running 16'09 at the 5000m Australian Championships, and 33'30 at Sydney10 a few weeks ago, Jess Noble has been selected to be part of the Athletics Australia Under-23 European touring team in the 5000m.

The tour is self funded; Athletics Australia estimates the total cost be around AUD$5000.

Jess will run the England Under23 championships in Belford, GBR (16th and 17th of July). She will then race the AAI Games in Ireland (23-24th of July). And finally, she will run the English open championships (30-31st of July).

Jess has been running with the Flyers for a few years now. She started with us on the long runs, first on the blue train, and now she is one of those pushing the pace in the red train as well as on Tuesday and Saturday sessions! With her constant good mood and positivity, she became a central person in the training group. She made the Newcastle Flyers proud with her excellent results in the last few months.

Jess is a physio student. It is currently her last year and she is doing 25 weeks of (unpaid!) placement as well as weekend work at Pure performance and at the hospital.

This racing trip in Europe will bring her crucial experience for the future of her running career, this is why I am giving you the opportunity to support her financially with this fundraising!
