Hi Friends and Family...
 It is with such a heavy heart, embarrassment and strength combined with hope that I reach out to my community with these words. I have been struggling with alcohol and substance abuse for quite some time and it’s become extremely worse over this past year. I have lost my car, my license, my job and jeopardized many of my relationships with family, friends and loved ones. I come from a long line of addicts and alcoholics and I have seen first hand how the current path I am on can ruin lives. I’m living it right now. Nothing good comes out of my drinking. It’s not fun anymore. It’s ruining my life and I am on a path of total destruction. I am ready for change. I am ready for the next step, but I can’t do it alone. I need the support of my family and friends. 

It has officially gotten to the point where I have hit rock bottom and I have decided to check myself into a recovery home. I know $10,000 is a lot of money to raise and I don’t expect to raise it all, but every little bit counts and will be going directly towards the costs of paying for my treatment and paying back other people that have already put thousands of dollars in to make this happen. It costs $7,500 for 2 weeks and an extra $5,000 for a total of 30 days. This is the cheapest around. I will be residing at Singing Trees Recovery Center located in the heart of the Redwoods along the Eel River in Northern California. 

This the most terrifying, humbling and bravest journey I have ever embarked on. If you are able to help, please do and if not, please Share.
